Job Overview




Reporting to the Learning and Talent Development Specialist, as the

HR Administrator

you will provide administrative support to the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team, with a primary focus on Learning and Talent Development. You also ensure HR databases are kept up-to-date, accurate and complete.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing support to the day-to-day administration of the Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring relevant and up-to-date content versions are available to learners. Monitoring admin. mailbox and act as first level support, ensuring regular user issues and requests are handled in a professional and timely manner and if required escalating to next level support and/or liaising with vendor for additional support. Conducting regular system audits to ensure user records and training completion records are updated and accurate. Assisting in the setup and monitoring of event registration, and supporting the hosting of virtual events. Assisting in the creation, management, and maintenance of HR documents, including spreadsheets, process documents, instructions, job descriptions, job postings etc. Acting as a back-up to support other areas of HRSS during peak periods or for vacation coverage. Providing support to other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:



High School Diploma, or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of administrative and/or HR related experience. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Satisfactory verification of criminal record check. Proficient using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) with advanced abilities working with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Requirements



Knowledge of HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and Learning Management Systems (Brainier or similar) is considered an asset. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.

Work Conditions




You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
