We are a dynamic, energetic and fast-paced insurance brokerage looking for an HR Administrator to join our team. Recent graduates with an HR Certificate/ Degree are welcome! About the Job: Assisting and cooperating with the Manager People & Culture, the HR Administrator will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and general HR admin responsibilities.

  • Assist in Full cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviews, managing offers, references), building candidate pipelines and creating positive candidate experiences
  • Onboarding of new hires
  • Employee Relations \xe2\x80\x93 Assist with effective employee relations, inquiries about various policies and procedures etc.
  • HR administration \xe2\x80\x93 Assist with updating and maintaining employee files, producing key HR reports, preparing documents, offer letters, termination packages
  • Thorough understanding of Canadian labor law \xe2\x80\x93 Employment Standards act, Occupational Health and Safety Act)
  • Collaborates with Health and Safety representatives on safety protocols and workplace accident prevention.
About YOU
  • HR related Degree or Certificate
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience or recently completed your HR Certification and are motivated to hit the ground running!
  • You have a willingness to learn and are a team player.
  • Knowledge of HR-related principles and best working practices and procedures, employment standards legislation, and other regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organization and professional communication skills with proven problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment
  • You are available to work in-office, Monday to Friday from 8:30-4:30 or 9-5
