We are seeking a reliable and compassionate

Housekeeper

to support individuals in their homes by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. The ideal candidate will assist clients who may have disabilities, dementia, or other health challenges by providing housekeeping services that enhance their daily comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organization of clients' living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and changing linens. Assist with light meal preparation and kitchen clean-up as needed. Ensure a safe home environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards. Provide friendly companionship and respectful interaction while working in the client's home. Support clients with light daily living tasks related to household upkeep. Follow care instructions and communicate with supervisors regarding client needs or concerns. Respect client privacy, preferences, and personal routines at all times.
Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping, home care, or residential cleaning is preferred. Experience working in homes of elderly individuals or those with disabilities is an asset. Familiarity with dementia-friendly environments is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety are essential.
