The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of MANAGING ROAD TRANSPORTATION (410-343-LA)
This course develops the concepts and processes for managing the personnel and equipment for transporting goods by road. Students will develop the ability to oversee vehicle maintenance and permits, analyze fleet management costs and adhere to all legal requirements to transport goods. Students will plan and monitor the dispatching of goods and manage the personnel required to move the goods.
Required Qualifications :
This course if offered in French. Proficiency in French is required.
Must have a thorough knowledge of North American transportation and logistics, specifically as it pertains to road transportation.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience,
or a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.
