The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION (410-353-LA).
This course develops the concepts and processes for managing the transportation of goods by air or marine internationally. Students will develop the ability to analyze transportation option costs and develop transportation plans and documentation while adhering to all legal requirements. Students will monitor and manage the movement of goods and effectively communicate transportation plans to relevant people/organizations.
Required Qualifications :
Must have a thorough knowledge of international transportation and logistics.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience,
or a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.
