The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course AMAZON WEB SERVICES FUNDAMENTALS I (420-755-LA).
This course is based on the AWS Academy Cloud Foundations course.
It provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing, and support.
In addition, students will cover theory and practical training to help prepare for the following certifications:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
AWS Solutions Architect Associate
Required Qualifications :
Must have thorough knowledge of AWS cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, and architecture.
Having practical experience (have worked on AWS projects or managed infrastructure) is an asset.
Having experience in teaching students to prepare for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications is an asset.
Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Holding relevant AWS certifications to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in AWS services is an asset.
Relevant AWS certifications would include: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, and more.

Comments :
This course will be delivered through distance learning (on zoom) in a synchronous format.
However, the teacher may require that students come onsite to write their final exams in person.
Final exam dates will be determined by the instructor in collaboration with the pedagogical advisor.
Experience with online course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LEA and Microsoft Teams is required.
