Description :

The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course MICROSOFT AZURE FUNDAMENTALS (420-756-LA).



This course will provide knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. The course will cover cloud concepts, Azure services, Azure workloads, security, and privacy in Azure, as well as Azure pricing and support. Students will be introduced to implementing, managing, and monitoring identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment, plus provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources, when needed. Students completing this course will be prepared for the following certification:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administration- Associate Exam AZ-104

Required Qualifications :

Must have thorough knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Azure and cloud computing fundamentals.


This includes knowledge of Azure services, virtualization, networking, security, and basic cloud concepts.


Must also have thorough knowledge in Azure workloads, security, and privacy in Azure.


Having experience teaching students to prepare for Microsoft Certified: Azure Administration- Associate Exam AZ-104 is an asset.


Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.


Having relevant Microsoft Azure certifications is an asset. Relevant certifications would include: The Microsoft Certified (Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification).

Comments :

This course will be delivered through distance learning (on zoom) in a synchronous format. However, the teacher may require that students come onsite to write their final exams in person. Final exam dates will be determined by the instructor in collaboration with the pedagogical advisor. Experience with online course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LEA and Microsoft Teams is required.
