Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel management and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.

Duties

Perform night audit functions, including balancing accounts and preparing daily financial reports. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins and check-outs. Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring guest activity and responding to any incidents or emergencies. Maintain accurate records of room availability, rates, and reservations. Handle multi-line phone systems effectively, providing information to guests and managing calls efficiently. Assist with guest relations by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all guests have a pleasant stay. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with night audit procedures is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this enhances communication with diverse guests. Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and front desk software is essential. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective guest interactions. A background in resort operations or guest services will be considered an asset. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
