Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues efficiently using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. systems for energy efficiency and safety. Conduct welding repairs, residential painting, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the property's appearance and structural integrity. Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed to high standards. Respond promptly to guest requests or facility emergencies with professionalism and a customer service-oriented approach.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics reading, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting to perform repairs or upgrades as needed. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management and record keeping. Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints effectively. Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting with leadership qualities that motivate teams. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
