Job Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris Empty trash cans and waste containers Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs Contact contractors for establishment repairs and maintenance Perform minor appliance repairs Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies Perform routine maintenance such as painting and drywall repair Water and maintain plants, lawns, and gardens Work with minimal supervision Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Qualifications & RequirementsCertifications:

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Equipment Experience:

Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers Power tools Power lawn mowers Snowblower

Security & Safety:

Criminal record check required

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:

Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) or more
