Position Summary:

The Hotel Houseperson / General Support Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel. This position provides flexible support across departments including housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and front desk to maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Assist housekeeping with cleaning, inspecting, and restocking guest rooms as needed. Support the laundry department with washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. Perform general upkeep and light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, or reporting maintenance issues. Deliver supplies, linens, and amenities to guest rooms and staff as requested. Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces. Assist front desk team with guest needs, luggage handling, or deliveries as required. Pick up hotel supplies and materials from local vendors as assigned. Adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards. Provide excellent customer service and represent the hotel professionally at all times.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, vehicle, and proof of insurance (required). Previous hotel or maintenance experience an asset but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand or move for extended periods. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $15.18-$19.37 per hour
