We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant stay at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
Handle reservations using multi-line phone systems and computer software.
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain the front desk area in an organized and presentable manner.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support hotel operations.
Experience
Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Proficiency in phone etiquette and customer service skills is essential.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
Familiarity with Opera is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
