Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality or hotel operations is a plus.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Check guests in and out efficiently while ensuring accurate billing and payment processing. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Manage reservations using multi-line phone systems and computer software. Maintain the front desk area in an organized and welcoming manner. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in phone etiquette, capable of managing multi-line phone systems effectively. Experience in front desk operations within the hotel industry is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
