Horticulturist/golf Course Maintenance Worker
Job Description
There are two positions available at the golf course for the upcoming season. Both of the positions are full time seasonal. Both of the positions will have some limited weekend shifts. We are flexible on which days of the week are work days depending on the applicants needs. One of the positions will spend about half of their time tending to the needs of all the flower beds on the course, and the other half on the constant cleanliness of the clubhouse, parking lot, and half way hut areas. The second position will spend about one third of their time on the flowers, and two thirds of their time on the maintenance team tending to the golf course needs. There will be extensive training on all machines as well as from the retiring gardener. They will be supervised by the Golf Course Superintendent as well as a board member who will aid in planning and timing of flower planting and care. Rossmere provides a positive work environment and great team atmosphere. No formal education is required but it would be an asset. Previous golf course experience is preferred but also not required. Contract length: 7 months Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
