If you're the kind of person who can read a horse before it even takes a step -- and you love helping people experience that magic too -- we'd love to meet you.
At Serenity Rising Farm, we're growing our team of Horse & Pony Trainers who can also lead public trail rides and pony rides. These roles are perfect for experienced, grounded individuals who are passionate about horses and just as excited to share that passion with beginners, families, and curious kids.
We're not a riding school -- we're an agritourism farm that offers hands-on, educational animal experiences. And we're looking for people who want to help shape and grow the horse experiences we offer, from building safe, beginner-friendly trail rides to dreaming up new, fun, and meaningful ways for our guests to connect with horses and ponies.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop trust-based groundwork and riding skills in horses and ponies (some with little or no prior handling)
Train horses for beginner-friendly public trail rides
Lead trail rides and pony rides with guests of all ages
Help integrate new horses into our existing herd
Assist with general horse care and welfare alongside our team
Keep tack organized and help clean up trails and paddocks post-ride
Work outdoors -- we don't have an indoor arena, so you'll need to be comfortable in all kinds of weather
Ideal Qualifications:
A strong background in horse and pony training (especially outdoors)
Experience working with animals who are sometimes green or minimally-handled
A calm, confident presence -- for both horses andguests
Experience riding and training in Western style is a must
Familiarity with Parelli Natural Horsemanship (a bonus, not a deal-breaker)
Great communication skills and a warm, welcoming attitude
The ability to work physically demanding shifts, sometimes long and always outside
Flexibility to work a mix of weekdays, evenings, and weekends

This is a chance to be part of something a little different -- a place where hard work, creativity, and a love for animals and people come together. We're building something special here, and if you're someone who's eager to grow with us (and maybe get a little muddy along the way), we'd love to hear from you.
