Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing menu recommendations.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings. Take customer orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Process payments efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
