Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and upsell additional products or services. Maintain knowledge of current trends in renovation, construction, interior design, and lighting design to assist customers effectively. Manage inventory through stocking and merchandising practices to ensure an appealing shopping experience. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Maintain organized records of customer interactions and account management details.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele effectively. Experience in high-end sales environments with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of retail math principles for effective inventory management and sales analysis. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated in achieving individual sales goals. Multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Familiarity with maintenance tasks related to product displays or store upkeep is beneficial. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.
