We are seeking a reliable Installer to join our team. The Installer will be responsible for installing, assembling, and repairing and servicing hoists and other garage equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Good communications skills are required. We train.
Duties
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions
Install shop equipment according to specifications and safety standards
Test installed shop equipment to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and service and maintenance.
Should have the ability to coordinate with clients and team members to schedule installation appointments and ensure timely completion
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials (parts etc...) used
Adhere to safety protocols at all times during installation processes and part installation or replacement.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
Experience
Prior experience in installation, or a related technical field is preferred but not required
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical diagrams and instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Prior experience in driving a fork lift is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license is required for traveling between job sites. Must be able to drive with a trailer on.
