Job Description

Job Summary:
The OKHL is seeking Officials to oversee and enforce rules during sporting events or competitions. The ideal candidate will ensure fair play, sportsmanship, and safety for all participants.

Responsibilities:
- Enforce rules and regulations of the sport being played
- Make decisions on game outcomes, penalties, and player eligibility
- Monitor player conduct and ensure adherence to sportsmanship standards
- Inspect equipment for compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with coaches, players, and spectators
- Maintain accurate records of game events and incidents

Requirements:
- Knowledge of the specific sport's rules and regulations
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to remain impartial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical stamina to stand or move for extended periods during games
- Previous experience as a player, coach, or referee in the sport is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70.00 per hour

Experience:

Hockey Official: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
