About the Role

Time Commitment:
1 hour/week (Mondays from 5-6 PM) with possibility of more hours if desired.

U13 and under

3-6 goalies per session

Your Responsibilities
Act as
lead coach
for all weekly goalie sessions
Arrive on time and ready to run organized, engaging practices
Provide hands-on goalie instruction focused on fundamentals, technique, and confidence
Ensure a
safe, respectful, and fun
environment for all participants
Maintain
discipline and focus
throughout the session
Ensure players exit the ice and all pucks/cones are up on time for Zamboni access
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and facility staff when needed
Communicate in timely manner to manager about upcoming ice sessions and any other relevant updates.
Comfortable shooting pucks and a strong skater.
What We're Looking For
Strong background in goaltending (playing and/or coaching)
Experience working with kids
Confident leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to manage minor conflicts and keep the group on task
Passion for teaching and a positive attitude
Dependability - we need someone who shows up and follows through
Bonus Skills
Previous goalie coaching experience
Certifications (e.g., Hockey Canada coaching credentials)
First aid/CPR certification
