Are you a current or ex junior, college, minor pro hockey player who is driven, tenacious and wishes they could still have a career in hockey?

Perfect Skating, founded by Shawn Allard, Skating and Skills coach of the Colorado Avalanche and personal hockey coach to over 200 NHL players, is seeking an ambitious, ex or current hockey player to help continue building our brand and programs here in our nation's capital. We know that the very best people come from our own networks, does this sound like someone you know?

I was born to lead and have high energy. I was always first in line in my drills when I was a player; and in my younger years I was captain or assistant captain of my teams because of my natural leadership ability. I love results and am tenacious on the task (or the puck!) until I achieve success. Players on my team are crystal clear on what winning is -- achieving one clear and focused goal - and that goal for Perfect Skating is recruiting a targeted number of new players who want to excel in their game, and then leading them on the ice to accomplish that goal. My former teammates used to think I would make a great coach.

I am entrepreneurial at heart, strong at networking, resourceful when the path to success isn't crustal clear, and have the grit and determination to succeed at anything I put my mind to.

I am available in the mornings 6:30am-8:30am and/or the afternoons 3:15pm-8:15pm (Monday-Fridays).

The player we are looking for will be developed into a world leading expert in coaching players in the art of skating, skill and hockey performance development. He will help continue building the Perfect Skating brand in the Ottawa Centre and Gloucester franchise locations.
