POSITION OVERVIEW

Evolution Hockey Ltd. is hiring a Goalie Skills Instructor - an individual who is responsible for the on-ice training and development of goaltenders in its programs. To fill this role, Evolution Hockey is searching for an individual who is energetic and passionate about the goaltending position. The Goalie Skills Instructor will work closely with the Director of Goaltending and coaching staff to ensure goaltenders receive specialized instruction tailored to their development needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Skill Development & Training

- Design and implement goaltending-specific drills focusing on important foundational elements and relevant game trends.

- Provide individualized feedback and instruction to goalies based on their skill level and developmental needs.

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with the coaching staff to integrate goalie-specific training into overall team development.

- Engage with players, parents (if applicable) and staff to ensure a supportive training environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Have knowledge of the goaltending position (understand relevant techniques and tactics).

- Ability to design and implement effective goalie training programs.

- Must have the ability to skate and shoot at a level that will challenge goaltenders within the Evolution Hockey program.

- Ability to foster a positive, competitive and development-focused environment.

- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other coaches, players and parents.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- Previous experience as a goaltender or goalie coach is preferred but not required.

- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends based on program needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
