Our expertise lies in one-on-one, in-home tutoring, focusing on the specific subjects where students require assistance.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring Math and experience working with children. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in educating and supporting students to enhance their understanding of the subject matter, improve their academic performance, and foster a love for learning.

Duties

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalized learning plans. Create engaging lesson plans and educational materials tailored to individual student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other educators to align tutoring sessions with classroom instruction.

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred. Strong understanding of educational best practices and child development principles. Ability to engage effectively with children and create an enjoyable learning experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey concepts clearly. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed academically.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
