Helpdesk Support Analyst Located in Fredericton, NB Are you an energetic problem-solver who loves tackling complex issues and working independently? If so then this position is for you! We are looking for a Helpdesk Support person to join our IT Team. Your role will be to support Bird Stairs staff members in the smooth and reliable operation of our IT systems from desktop to backend. You will be responsible for responding to and resolving support issues as well as computer setup and deployment. As a member of the IT team you will work closely with the Director of Information Technology to plan and execute larger project-based IT initiatives. Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services. * Support end user devices (desktops, notebooks, tablets, etc.) and work with third party vendors. * Professionally respond to telephone calls, emails, and web-based service support requests. * Document and prioritize trouble tickets and technical issues on customer accounts * Responsible for keeping internal documentation clear and up to date. * Participate in installations and upgrades, sometimes outside regular business hours * Provide on-call support as part of a rotation. Qualifications On your resume clearly demonstrate the following qualifications: * Completion of post-secondary education in an IT related field * Experience utilizing computer and troubleshooting skills * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite * Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems * Basic networking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP * Basic knowledge of security technologies such as Firewall and Antivirus * Must hold a valid driver\'s license. * Previous customer service experience is an asset * While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as climb a ladder while carrying 20 pounds The ideal candidate will be: * Professional personality with a love of helping others * Highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven * Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision * Ability to analyze and solve problems * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Attention to detail is extremely important. * Self-motivated and driven with good time management and organizational skills * Ability to prioritize and multi-task while adapting in a fast-paced work environment
