Job Description


DescriptionWe seek a Coordinator to assist our Office Manager in making sure our systems and processes support our people and drive our business. This role works 3 days in our Kitsilano office and 2 days remote. Applicants must be extremely detail oriented, organized and results focused, flexible, positive, and action oriented. You will have the ability to work independently and will be expected to take initiative and exercise your own judgement while operating as a member of the Admin team. Positive, professional, and tactful communication will be a part of everything you do while juggling multiple priorities, and thorough follow-up will be embedded in every task and project. Overall, you will own your part in maintaining high levels of internal and external customer service.RequirementsEducation

  • High school graduation with some post secondary office/systems training
  • Ideally a degree, certificate, or diploma from a program in business administration, operations management, or a similar area
Experience and Skills
  • 2-4 years in an administrative role in a small-medium size firm, ideally with some experience in a more corporate environment as well
  • Some experience supporting users in a complex IT and business process environment (though we have a Managed Services IT firm that handles the detailed technical issues)
  • Experience working with a variety of databases or ATS/CRM tools
  • Strong user of MS-Office suite especially Excel, Outlook & Word (ideally including Word forms)
  • Preferably some experience with automation tools (Zapier or similar)
  • Experience setting up marketing emails (Mailchimp or similar)
  • Experience with conference and sales trip logistics
  • Some experience in social media management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with a mix of routine and project-oriented responsibilities
  • Experience making significant contributions to a growing company, especially one with changing systems and procedures
  • Preferably some experience in a retail or hospitality firm either in the field or at corporate level
