Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery and tools, ensuring precision and quality in production processes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor computer controlled machinery Perform setup and adjustments on machines according to specifications. Troubleshoot and problem solve to produce quality parts Read technical drawings to determine machining operations. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Collaborate with team members for efficient production flow. Record time spent, quantity produced, and material usage with help of shop floor tracking software Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in basic maintenance of machinery as needed. Operate hand/power tools as required Carry out setup of bend tooling for various production runs

Requirements

Experience with basic hydraulics and electrical components is an asset Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Previous factory or warehouse experience is an asset Ability to work effectively while maintaining quality standards. Willingness to learn new skills related to tooling, and other manufacturing processes. Strong communication skills

Pay: $23.48-$29.07 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Machine operation: 2 years (required)
