Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at loading/unloading sites. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and conducting minor automotive repairs when necessary. Winch experience would be beneficial.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. Strong understanding of freight transportation regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
