We are currently seeking

Lowbed Truck drivers

to join our team in transporting heavy equipment around Western Canada.

Position Overview:

The Lowbed Truck Driver

will work with the equipment Fleet Manager and other staff to safely transport heavy equipment around Saskatchewan, Alberta & Manitoba. This will involve pulling over dimension/overweight pieces of heavy equipment requiring proper load securement, permitting and pilot trucks at times.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating semi-truck & lowbed trailers in a safe and efficient manner, within its designed specifications Maintain pre-trip inspection documentation, logbook documentation and permitting Working with other crew members to safely transport equipment to destination Chaining/securing/hauling loads properly in all weather conditions Pull lowbed combos from 6 axles up to 13 axles (85 ton) Dealing with traffic Ability to operate equipment for loading Winch truck experience is a value Completing inspections and working with the maintenance division on repairs Doing other tasks as required when not low bedding including truck trailer maintenance, operating, etc.

An ideal candidate:

An ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys trucking and heavy haul transportation. This person would enjoy the challenge of pulling unique loads on specified routes to locations across Canada. The candidate should also enjoy working with a team of maintenance staff and management to deliver equipment in a timely manner to ongoing construction projects.

Candidates will have to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening as well as have a valid

Class 1A driver's license

with

abstract

to meet role requirements.

Candidates should be based relatively close to Saskatoon (Clavet).
