Job Description
Duties
Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck when needed. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving. Transportation of equipment, over size loads, LTL and FTL Must be able to work on site, helping crew with deliveries etc. Must be able to stay out in the truck when needed
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have a clean driving record with no major violations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 70 per week
