Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with the possibility of on-call

About the Role

Willowlee Sod Farms is looking for a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of specialized sod farming machinery. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working in an agricultural environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair construction as well as farm equipment such as: Sod Harvesters, Tractors, Mowers, Excavators, skid steers etc.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair needs effectively.

Work independently and collaboratively with farm operators and suppliers.

Qualifications

Experience in heavy equipment repair.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Valid driver's license (Class G or higher); DZ license is an asset.

Certification in heavy equipment or agricultural mechanics is an asset.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
