Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while performing tasks that are essential to our projects.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators and skid steers to complete construction tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any mechanical issues encountered during operation. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment during operations.

Experience

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with construction processes and techniques is essential. Experience in commercial driving is preferred for transporting equipment as necessary. Knowledge of grading is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. Pay: $21.60-$35.74 per hour
