Role Purpose:
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by developing strong customer relationships, expanding Wolfe's dealer and customer networks, and representing Wolfe equipment with confidence and technical expertise. This role is ideal for someone who understands heavy equipment, thrives in the field, and performs well in a fast-paced environment. Integrity, motivation, and strong in person communication skills are essential. The role also requires the ability to navigate a complex sales cycle, building trust with customers over time and guiding opportunities from initial contact through to final delivery.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain long term relationships with customers in your territory through regular communication and on site visits.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to expand Wolfe's presence in the market.
Lead the full sales process including prospecting, presenting products, preparing proposals, and managing follow up.
Support the development and execution of regional sales strategies that align with business goals.
Provide insight on market conditions, competitor activity, and customer needs to help strengthen Wolfe's products and services.
Work closely with dealers to generate leads, identify opportunities, and support dealer performance.
Develop a strong understanding of Wolfe equipment and clearly communicate technical features and benefits to customers.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to strengthen Wolfe's brand and visibility.
Support on site training for customers on new and existing equipment when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years of proven success in heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial B2B, or agriculture sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding territory targets.
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Experience working with dealer/ distributor networks and understanding channel dynamics (asset).
Strong consultative sales skills, including the ability to understand customer operations, identify needs, and provide value-driven solutions.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities, with strength in influencing decision-makers at multiple levels.
Disciplined territory management, including planning, prioritization, and pipeline management.
Analytical mindset with solid business acumen to interpret market trends, competitor activities, and customer data.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based role with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license and passport with the ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
Mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity to understand heavy equipment applications and product features (asset).
