As a

Heavy-Duty Vehicle Painter

, you will be responsible for preparing, refinishing, and painting semi-trucks, trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. You will play a key role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with a professional finish and long-lasting durability.

Key Duties:

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Mix, match, and blend paint to achieve precise color matches according to manufacturer specs. Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, and topcoats using spray guns and other refinishing tools. Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and organized throughout the painting process. Inspect completed work to verify quality, finish consistency, and compliance with standards. Perform paint touch-ups and minor corrections as needed. Work collaboratively with technicians and body repair staff to meet project timelines. Maintain all paint equipment in proper working condition and follow shop safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle painting. Proficiency with HVLP spray systems, color matching, and various painting techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on finish quality and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Physical stamina and dexterity for repetitive tasks and working in a paint booth. Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of paint materials and chemicals.

Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
