We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused

Heavy Duty Mechanic

to join our team at a base mine operation. This position involves working on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule, with full camp accommodations provided during your work rotation.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a variety of heavy equipment used in an industrial mining environment. You will work as part of a dedicated team committed to keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders, and other mining support equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures Work collaboratively with other trades and departments

Qualifications:

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal preferred) Experience in heavy equipment maintenance (off-road/mining experience is considered a strong asset) Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial setting Valid driver's license Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying weather conditions
