PRINCIPALES T\xc3\x82CHES ET RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S

Superviser les programmes et les initiatives en SSE afin de r\xc3\xa9pondre aux exigences r\xc3\xa9glementaires et aux besoins en mati\xc3\xa8re de SSE d\'un ou de plusieurs comptes clients. \xc3\x89valuer la pertinence des programmes nouveaux et existants et d\xc3\xa9terminer les changements n\xc3\xa9cessaires.

\xc3\x89valuer l\'incidence des blessures, des maladies et des incidents sur le rendement du compte, du march\xc3\xa9 r\xc3\xa9gional ou de tout autre secteur d\xc3\xa9sign\xc3\xa9. \xc3\x89tablir des tendances, des indicateurs d\'am\xc3\xa9lioration ou de d\xc3\xa9gradation du rendement en fonction des incidents afin de concevoir et mettre en \xc5\x93uvre des solutions strat\xc3\xa9giques visant \xc3\xa0 am\xc3\xa9liorer le rendement, le cas \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9ant.

G\xc3\xa9rer, \xc3\xa9laborer et mettre en \xc5\x93uvre des programmes et des initiatives en SSE afin de r\xc3\xa9pondre aux exigences r\xc3\xa9glementaires et aux besoins en mati\xc3\xa8re de SSE d\'un ou de plusieurs comptes clients.

Superviser les plans, les strat\xc3\xa9gies et les proc\xc3\xa9dures en SSE du compte, du march\xc3\xa9 r\xc3\xa9gional ou du secteur d\xc3\xa9sign\xc3\xa9. S\'assurer que l\'information est \xc3\xa0 jour, compl\xc3\xa8te et mise en \xc5\x93uvre efficacement.

Suivre la conformit\xc3\xa9 r\xc3\xa9glementaire en SSE au sein du compte, du march\xc3\xa9 r\xc3\xa9gional ou du secteur d\xc3\xa9sign\xc3\xa9. Communiquer toutes les constatations, pr\xc3\xa9occupations et lacunes aux gestionnaires responsables afin d\'effectuer les corrections n\xc3\xa9cessaires en temps opportun. Participer \xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9laboration et \xc3\xa0 la mise en \xc5\x93uvre de solutions strat\xc3\xa9giques qui appuieront les efforts de la direction pour am\xc3\xa9liorer et maintenir la conformit\xc3\xa9, au besoin.

Aider \xc3\xa0 cerner les occasions de r\xc3\xa9duire les co\xc3\xbbts tout en am\xc3\xa9liorant la qualit\xc3\xa9 des services pour un client ou un compte.

Favoriser la prise de conscience de la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 au sein du personnel en fournissant des donn\xc3\xa9es pr\xc3\xa9cises et informatives, en organisant des r\xc3\xa9unions sur la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9, en donnant des r\xc3\xa9troactions en temps opportun sur les suggestions de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 et en soutenant clairement les programmes de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of a client account(s). Evaluates new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.

Monitors injury, illness, and incident related performance within the account, market area, or other assigned area of responsibility. Monitors performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance and develops and implements strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.

Manages, develops and implements HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of the client account.

Oversees HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the account, market area, or assigned area of responsibility. Ensures information is current, complete and effectively implemented.

Monitors HSE (Health and Safety and Environmental) regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or assigned area of responsibility. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic solutions that will support management\'s efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.

Assists in identifying in opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services for a client/account.

Promotes safety consciousness among employees by providing accurate and informative data, conducting safety meetings, giving timely feedback, on safety suggestions and visibly supporting the safety program(s).

Acts as a resource to staff and employees as an HSE subject matter expert.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company\'s values.

Connaissance appliqu\xc3\xa9e des lois f\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9rales, provinciales et locales en mati\xc3\xa8re de sant\xc3\xa9, s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 et environnement. Exp\xc3\xa9rience de relations directes avec des organismes de r\xc3\xa9glementation ou des agents de conformit\xc3\xa9, pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rable.

Exp\xc3\xa9rience pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rable dans le secteur de la fabrication, de la construction, de l\'entretien ou la gestion des installations.

CERTIFICATS ou PERMIS

Professionnel de la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 certifi\xc3\xa9 (CSP), hygi\xc3\xa9niste industriel certifi\xc3\xa9 (CIH), gestionnaire des mat\xc3\xa9riaux dangereux certifi\xc3\xa9 (CHMM), technicien en sant\xc3\xa9 et s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 au travail (OHST), pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rable.

APTITUDES EN COMMUNICATION

La personne retenue pour le poste doit poss\xc3\xa9der d\'excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication \xc3\xa9crite et verbale. QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in HSE from four-year college or university. Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and / or compliance officers is preferred.

Experience working in manufacturing, construction, and / or facility maintenance and management is preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

As required by local authority (if required). Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) - Preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
