Position: Health, Safety and Environment Specialist
Location: Dorval

Are you looking for a position near Dorval? Our client, a well-established company in the aerospace industry, is looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist!

The HSE Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate daily, weekly and monthly KPIs for presentation to on-site management teams and corporate reporting systems. The HSE Specialist supports management\'s efforts to ensure compliance with all company safety program expectations and applicable federal and state laws.What they offer:- Salary up to $70K

- Recognition programYour profile:- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis and judgment skills
- Ability to analyze accident data, new processes and machinery for potential safety issues, and conduct job hazard and safety analyses
- Experience in case management in the workplace
- Experience in the manufacturing industry such as aerospace, plastics, metal manufacturing
- Bachelor\'s degree or higher in a field related to Health and Safety preferred
- Environmental experience, an asset

Responsibilities:

- Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and opportunities for improvement through daily, weekly and monthly audits
- Facilitate the incident investigation process
- Maintain documentation required to comply with company and OHS regulations
- Enter job security incident information into internal database in a timely manner
- Conduct safety observations and audits
- Train and assist others (area managers, safety team members, etc.) in fulfilling their safety responsibilities (audits, safety compliance, etc.)
- Carry out specific safety training as required by the HSE Manager
- Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion
