What Will You Be Doing?

Assume all instructor duties and implement all procedures Communicate with Aquatics Supervisor to resolve any instructing or maintenance issues, and work together to create development plans to move instructing skills forward. Complete instructor evaluations on site during each Support Visit as scheduled Provide appropriate feedback both constructive and positive to instructors during and after support visits. Work with Aquatics Supervisor to cover any instructor's shift when they are sick or have an emergency Assist the Aquatics Supervisor with Quarterly Instructor staff meetings and training (Inservice) Train new instructor staff on the ALSA curriculum and standards during co-teaches Conduct water interviews during shifts, and communicate outcomes and suggestions for hiring.

Qualifications:

Current National Lifeguard Certification - A MUST HAVE Current Standard First Aid with CPR / AED level C - A MUST HAVE Previous competitive swimmer preferred

The Aqua Life Swim Academy is a boutique private swim school that teaches children and adults how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer in and around the water, and to inspire a lifelong love for the water!
