On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.Our client, founded in 2016, is a provider of privacy and security software, dedicated to delivering high-quality network security tools to both B2C and B2B markets. As bootstrapped companies with a significant following and loyal customer base, they prioritize ethical marketing practices and innovative growth strategies to achieve their goals without relying on traditional paid advertising methods. They are looking for an exceptional growth and marketing leader to come and build up a team to build strategies to reach the next tier of revenue growth.To build and scale a team to support in expanding their customer base across all product lines by providing up-to-date and informative content, forming strategic partnerships, and employing other effective methods, all with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies focused on organic growth channels and non-traditional marketing techniques.
  • Set and achieve quarterly goals, ensuring alignment with the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall mission and objectives.
Content Creation and SEO:
  • Oversee content generation for SEO purposes for both companies
  • Lead the development of promotional content, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, and social media updates.
  • Optimize websites for conversions and user experience, ensuring enhanced visibility and organic traffic growth.
Social Media and User Engagement:
  • Manage and grow the company\xe2\x80\x99s social media presence, ensuring consistent and impactful engagement with the target audience.
  • Develop and execute strategies to convert free-tier users to premium paid accounts through targeted campaigns and personalized user experiences.
Partnership Development:
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to drive brand recognition, website traffic, and user acquisition.
  • Build reciprocal relationships with other companies to expose audiences to our products and services.
Project Management:
  • Lead multiple growth projects across sales and marketing, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Utilize project management skills to guide and mentor the existing team, rebuilding and expanding as needed.
Community Engagement:
  • Build strategies to weaponize the community, expanding viewership and user base through platforms like Reddit, Discord, and Twitter.
  • Develop content for YouTube channel and other social channels.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of growth strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular reports on growth initiatives and their impact on revenue and market share.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the growth team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Source and bring in the right people and positions to support growth initiatives.
Skills and Competencies:Growth Strategy Expertise:
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful growth strategies, particularly in the SaaS industry.
Content Marketing:
  • Strong skills in content creation and marketing, with the ability to craft compelling messages that drive user engagement and conversions.
SEO Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Analytical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and measure the success of growth initiatives.
Partnership Building:
  • Experience in identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships that contribute to growth and brand recognition.
Leadership and Project Management:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving ambitious growth goals.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple growth projects simultaneously.
Autonomy and Adaptability:
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strategist and builder mindset, adapting to changing market conditions and pivoting strategies as needed.
Ethical Marketing:
  • Commitment to ethical marketing practices, especially concerning privacy and security.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in growing revenue through innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing social channels.
  • Technical background or interest in understanding VPN, DNS, and SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of both B2C and B2B markets.
  • Located in Canada is preferred.
