Head of Growth
to drive the next phase of our expansion.
The Role
We are hiring a
Head of Growth
to lead our direct-to-consumer growth strategy, overseeing
acquisition, retention, conversion rate optimization, performance marketing strategy, and data analytics
. You will build and optimize the systems that fuel top-line revenue growth, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, partnerships, and operations. This role requires
a true builder
--someone who has launched and scaled growth systems from scratch, not just optimized existing ones.
If you've personally built customer acquisition channels, scaled performance marketing strategies, and driven growth from the ground up (not just inherited a well-oiled machine), this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Own and scale revenue growth:
Lead acquisition, retention, and conversion optimization for our direct-to-consumer business.
Oversee performance marketing strategy:
Manage and support the team and agencies responsible for budget allocation across Facebook, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels, ensuring CAC stays within targets while maximizing LTV.
Develop a growth roadmap:
Implement a structured testing and experimentation process to continuously optimize marketing channels and website conversion rates.
Support subscription growth:
Drive higher subscription opt-in rates and customer retention. Define and analyze customer cohorts and insights to improve holistic growth strategy.
Implement growth analytics infrastructure:
Work with developers to establish robust reporting systems and insights for decision-making.
Manage a high-performing growth team:
Hire, mentor, and lead a team responsible for paid media, retention, CRO, and analytics. Establish clear KPIs and ensure alignment on business objectives.
Manage agencies & in-house teams:
Oversee and collaborate with external agencies and internal teams responsible for paid media, SEO, email, CRO, and retention.
Scale referral & retention programs:
Improve Inspired Go's referral program, win-back campaigns, and loyalty initiatives.
Track and optimize budgets:
Support and provide strategic direction for performance marketing spend and non-discretionary operational expenses to drive efficient growth.
Who You Are
A true builder:
You've built growth systems from scratch--not just inherited an existing playbook.
You consider yourself a
Growth hacker
, highly skilled in marketing platforms - please do not apply if you do not have experience managing a budget in either Facebook or Google Ads Manager.
An experienced leader:
You have experience hiring, managing, and mentoring teams across performance marketing, retention, and analytics.
A hands-on operator:
You've personally run Facebook or Google Ads, worked with Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge, and other e-commerce tools, and understand what it takes to scale a DTC brand.
Data-driven & analytical:
You make decisions based on data, not gut feelings, and have experience setting up growth reporting and attribution models. You have experience evaluating and optimizing toward standard user acquisition KPIs (CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, etc.)
Customer-obsessed:
You understand DTC customer behavior and know how to drive engagement, retention, and brand loyalty.
A strong cross-functional leader:
You can align marketing, product, engineering, and ops teams around growth objectives. You have a proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, adapt to changing needs and tackle new challenges daily.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively.
What You've Done (Must-Have Experience)
5+ years in a growth-focused role
(e.g., Growth Lead, Head of Growth, Director of Growth, Performance Marketing Lead, etc.).
Direct-to-consumer experience is required. Bonus points for being CPG subscription related.
Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to achieve revenue growth goals.
Proven track record of scaling acquisition & retention efforts
with measurable results.
Experience managing significant paid media budgets
and optimizing CAC:LTV dynamics both personally and with teams. You've managed over $1m in annual performance marketing spend budgets for another direct to consumer company.
Built growth systems and reporting from scratch
--not just plugged into a mature company.
Worked in an early or high-growth environment
where you had to roll up your sleeves and build processes, teams, and strategies.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience in international expansion (especially U.S. markets).
SEO, organic social, influencer marketing.
Experience working with a startup or high-growth company in food, health, or wellness.
SQL or experience working directly with analytics teams to set up reporting.
