Concierge
to join our community. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a compassionate attitude toward seniors, and experience with administrative and basic accounting duties.
The Concierge plays a vital role in supporting daily operations, maintaining a professional reception area, and assisting with clerical tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the care community.
Responsibilities
Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy using proper phone etiquette.
Provide accurate information regarding community services, resident activities, visiting hours, and local amenities.
Support administrative functions such as data entry, filing, document preparation, and appointment scheduling.
Assist with basic accounting tasks including invoice tracking, petty cash handling, and processing payments as directed.
Coordinate with nursing, recreation, and management teams to address resident or family inquiries promptly.
Maintain the reception and front entrance areas in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
Handle concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues appropriately.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all privacy and safety policies within the LTC home.
Support other departments with administrative or clerical needs as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in customer service, administration, or reception--experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting or bookkeeping software is an asset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and respect for seniors.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 per week
