Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards for taste and presentation.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and menu development.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
