Are you an energetic, service-focused culinary leader with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? Powder Renegade Lodge is seeking a dedicated Head Chef to join our team at our private lodge in the breathtaking Monashee Mountains of British Columbia.
As the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for designing and preparing delicious meals for guests and staff, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety in our kitchen. You'll be at the helm of all culinary operations, ensuring every dish meets our commitment to excellence and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment as well as food and beverage supplies
Make food and kitchen item purchases
Assist with the safe transportation of food to the lodge
Maintain a clean and presentable kitchen
Keep track of and organize all logs and records pertaining to the food and beverage department
Ensure the preparation, production and presentation of food are always of the highest quality
Operate, maintain and clean all kitchen equipment in a safe and reliable manner
Lead in the planning and preparation of all daily meals including breakfast, lunch, apres ski, dinner, desert, snacks and baked goods
Prepare Tour menus catering to both guest and staff considering all dietary or allergy requirements
Assist in the development of departmental standard and safe operating procedures.
Assist in hiring additional food and beverage staff
Job Requirements/ Expectations:
3 - 5 years of cooking experience in a remote lodge or similar setting
Minimum Food Safe Level 1 required
Proven culinary expertise in various techniques and cuisine
Ability to menu plan and monitor inventory
A strong commitment to delivering a high standard of quality customer service
Physical fitness for repetitive tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Availability for various shifts, including split shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Punctual and reliable
Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a proactive attitude
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
