As our Head Chef, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all culinary operations, leading the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, seasonally inspired. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head Chef will oversee food planning and preparation, team management, cost control, menu development, and kitchen administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and mentor all kitchen staff, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving teams
Oversee inventory, food and labor cost management
Develop seasonal and event-based menus with a creativity
Set up and stock cooking stations, ensuring readiness for each shift
Prepare and cook dishes following recipes and presentation guidelines
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Perform temperature and prep quality checks
Direct new hire training and ongoing skill development
Coordinate and execute meals for restaurant service, events, and banquets
Liaise with front-of-house and events teams to ensure seamless service
Take charge of ordering, inventory control, staff scheduling, food costing, and
kitchen documentation
Represent the brand proudly at off-site events when required
Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed to an exceptional standard
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience creating, costing, and executing seasonal menus
Food Safe Certification (required)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Keen understanding of food cost control and sustainable kitchen practices
Flexible availability -- mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
