We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for innovative food preparation. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and managing a diverse team to maintain the highest level of service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary personnel
Develop and plan menus that align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to dietary requirements
Oversee shift management, staffing schedules, and training programs to optimize productivity
Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives
Monitor food industry trends to incorporate innovative techniques and menu items
Qualifications
Proven experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management roles with a strong culinary background
Extensive banquet experience and supervising experience preferred
Knowledge of dietary department standards and food safety regulations
Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures
Excellent skills in food service management, culinary arts, and hospitality operations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is highly desirable
Certifications related to food safety or hospitality management are a plus

Pay: $47,129.17-$60,000.00 per year
