Our government client in Regina has an immediate need to hire a Human Capital Management (HCM) Test Lead on a 6- month contract to start (with the option of a 2yr extension), reference number RC-24-006, for their Regina, SK location. The position requires regular onsite meetings so candidates must be local to the Regina area or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract. Our client will implement a new enterprise solution for an integrated financial, human resource and procurement system across government, and will replace numerous applications and systems within the government that currently provides those functions. At its core, EBMP is a business transformation project \xe2\x80\x93 it will transform business processes and the way that we work, so that employees will be able to spend more time serving citizens. The HCM Test Lead\xe2\x80\x99s role is to perform and manage the team responsible for the overall end-to-end system and integration testing, Service Readiness Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stress testing, and payroll reconciliation testing efforts, testing tool management, and testing status reporting. The test lead will be required to have proven communication and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of the project lifecycle, testing best practices, testing tools and reporting. Critical to the successful performance of this role, the test lead will have the ability to coordinate and work with different stakeholders to define strategy, realistic timelines, the HCM test schedule, defect tracking, status reporting and issue escalation.What you will be doing:Develop and approve HCM Test Strategy and provide inputs to testing deliverables.Owns test plan creation (templates, schedule, etc.) and responsible for the overall success of various testing cycles.Facilitate the creation of test scenarios from User Stories, and test scripts/data prep and expected results.Plan testing cycles and schedule, including payroll testing.Provide testing progress at a program level to the leadership team.Highlight the testing risks and work with the Project Management Office and the functional leads, technical leads for mitigation.Monitor and report progress of testing phases to the testing team; escalate as necessary.Defect management and coordination with the relevant stakeholders for defect triaging.Evaluate entry/exit criteria for each test cycle.Obtain final sign-off for all testing cycles.What you must have:Experience in project management with Human Resource focus and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large projectsExperience in analyzing test results, identifying performance bottlenecks, and working with functional and technical development teams to pinpoint root causes and drive issues to resolution.Demonstrated skills in developing strategy, designing and managing the end- to-end testing approach covering Functional, Data and Technical/Integration, user acceptance, regression, performance and service rehearsal testing.Demonstrated experience in leading stress testing program development in areas of program integration, risk appetite and risk decisioning integration, and governance of enterprise and subsidiary stress testing standards.Demonstrated experience in implementing a process of continual review and optimization of the Compliance Testing Framework to identify shared controls, eliminating redundancy and duplication, identifying process gaps, streamlining risk assessments and enhancing adequacy and effectiveness of test design, while taking account of variable requirements of individual business units and cross dependencies.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
