Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman (or woman!) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall functionality and aesthetics of our properties.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with installations of fixtures and appliances as needed. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
