We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, butchery, and meat cutting, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This role requires hands-on experience in a kitchen environment and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
Prepare and cut various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage of food products.
Package meat products for sale, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions regarding products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues promptly.
Skills
Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and butchery.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and equipment operation.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in packaging and presentation.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of kitchen operations.
