Flexible shifts (9 AM-3 PM or 3 PM-8 PM or 9 AM - 8 PM Mon-Thu; 9 AM-6 PM Fri; 9 AM-5 PM Sat). 32 - 61 hours per week available

Communication Skills:

Your command of English for phone, email and text is clear, friendly, and professional. You're comfortable with computers and able to manage bookings and inquiries with ease -- whether face-to-face, by phone, email, or internet.

Social Media Savvy:

Whether you're a pro or eager to learn, you're excited to build your personal brand and help promote the salon through engaging content on Instagram, Facebook, and other support apps. Basic photography skills are a plus.

Experience & Licensing:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry preferred, with a valid Hairdresser's License. International training or experience is considered an asset. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Salon Operations:

You're ready to contribute to the day-to-day flow of the salon, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, cashier duties, retail sales, shampooing clients, and maintaining salon cleanliness to Covid-19 standards.

You're self-motivated, goal-oriented, and always looking to learn and improve. You bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive outlook to everything you do.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences. Perform hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treating hair, while ensuring sanitation standards are met. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a positive salon atmosphere. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
