The Opportunity : We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Guest Services team. Our successful candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communications.
What you will do:
• Provide Customer Service Support to mall patrons and tenants;
• Cover reception, answering phone and handling tenant/client inquiries;
• Supervise on-site promotion activities;
• Respond to customer inquiries;
• Process gift card sales which includes;
+ daily deposits
+ shift reports and logs
+ distribution of gift-with-purchase items
• Log and control lost and found merchandise;
• Balance and complete daily paperwork;
• Alert mall security of any emergency issues and provide assistance as required;
• Communicate with housekeeping on areas that need clean up;
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the workspace;
• Ensure appropriate levels of inventory for administration supplies, gift cards, etc. are maintained;
• Assist the marketing department with the coordination of special events (weeknights and weekends when required);
• Monitor the shopping centre and retailer's online presence daily on the standard media platforms; Facebook, X, Blog, Website, Tiktok, etc.
• Proofread bulletins, ad copy signs and posters, banner coordination, compiling and updating store and directory information, ballot counting and assisting with various display set-ups;
• Other duties as assigned by Property Manager.
Who You Are:
The candidate can work in a fast-paced environment where organizational skills and accuracy are essential. The candidate can work various shifts with flexible hours. Customer Service experience and Retail Sales experience is considered an asset.
• Various computer skills - Microsoft Office and Excel
• Competent in social media, Facebook, Twitter, Website, etc.
• Police Clearance - A criminal verification check is required for employment.
This position requires lifting objects weighing up to 25lb.
