Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South is looking for energetic, customer focused and dynamic people to join our Front Office team.

Key Responsibilities



Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner. Perform all check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Perform Night audit duties to include closing procedures, balancing, running reports, accounting functions Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, both in person and over the phone. Process and manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations. Answer and direct incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette. Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Use the OPERA Property Management System (PMS) to manage guest folios, check-ins/outs, and other transactions. Monitor and respond to all guest service requests, coordinating with other departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction. Punch food orders for in-house guests using hotel systems and coordinate with the restaurant or room service teams. Handle billing, cash, credit card, and other payment methods in a secure and accurate manner. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times. Support smooth communication between departments including Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. Assist in resolving guest issues or complaints with empathy, professionalism, and prompt action. Ensure all Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed. Complete end-of-shift reports and handovers as required.

Qualifications:



Previous Front Desk or Guest Services experience in a hotel setting preferred. Proficiency in OPERA Property Management System is a strong asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and handle pressure in a busy environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education is an asset.
